The journey to becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA) is paved using a series of steps, each of which requires. CA students have to go from the difficult CA Foundation course to the big CA Final exam, with practical training in between. In addition to the educational expenses, there are also some other fees related to exams, registration, and training. Aspirants who intend to pursue a CA Course fee must understand the specifics of this financial aspect. In this extensive guide, we cover registration, examination, and other related fees discussed in detail to provide insight for aspirants looking forward to choosing CA as a career.

CA Foundation Course Fees 2024

The CA Foundation course is the first most level to be cleared in completing the CA course guide. The CA Foundation registration can be made twice a year in the months of June and December. The CA Foundation fee structure for a year is ₹ 10,700/- which includes registration fees, journal membership fees, and examination fees.

 

Examination Fee

The examination fee for filling out the examination form online varies depending on the chosen examination centre.
(i) . Rs. 1500/- for the purpose of choosing my centre from India.
(ii) For INR 2200/- you can choose the Kathmandu or Thimphu centres.
(iii) Paying USD 325/- if you opt for Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kuwait, and Muscat centers.

In addition to the applicable examination fee payable to the institute, candidates are required to pay bank charges at the following rates while paying the fee online through the payment gateway:

Domestic Credit Cards: + 0.50% GST
Domestic Debit Cards / Rupay Cards: Up to (and in some cases, over) Rs. 2000: 0.4%+ GST; Supplied with Rs. 2000: 0.9% GST; RuPay Cards: 0.0%.

  • International Cards: 2.75% + GST.
  • Net Banking: Nil
  • BHIM UPI: Nil
  • Paytm Wallet: 1.10% with GST.

It is worth noting that these charges are payable by the candidate directly to the bank and will be reimbursed together with the prescribed amount due to the institutional authorities by the candidate. These only succeed in including details like bank commission and service tax, leaving out the primary charges.

 

CA Foundation Registration Fees

The CA Foundation is a course for which registration fees are charged to students for attaining the course credit. This fee is allocated to meet various programmes. ICAI organises deployment and imparts training on new disciplines to mitigate technology redundancy and skill gaps. The registration fee for CA Foundation is Rs. 9, 000.

 

CA Foundation Application Fees 2024

Starting from the November (Nov) session, students who have completed the basic qualification (4 months of study) will have to pay the CA Foundation application fees to register for the exams held in June and December. The examinations held at various examination centres across the country are organised by ICAI.

CA Intermediate Course Fees 2024

Students are able to make a choice of either approaching the CA Inter course by going through two different ways.

1. Foundation Route: The Academic Pathway entails clearing foundation exams, during which students fill in and then advance to the intermediate level. Intermediate-level registration happens only twice a year. The applications are open in August and February.

2. Direct Entry Scheme for Graduates: This scheme is accessible to graduates who want to complete the Foundation level and subsequently enrol in the Intermediate level without any pre-requisites.

  • Students with under-graduation or post-graduation eligibility can admit directly to the Intermediate level.
  • Students at the intermediate stage of the Chartered Accountancy course or Certified Financial Analyst course can register for the intermediate level if they desire to emerge as CA.

 

CA Intermediate Registration Fees 2024

The CA Inter fee differ from being the only pre-approved group or the concurrent registered group.

  • The fee payable by one group for such an activity is ₹ 11,000.
  • The registration charges for the first and second group members are 18,000 and 16,000, respectively.

However, the Carelessly route only has registration procedures for both groups.

 

ICAI CA Intermediate Exam Form Fee

Indian Centres:

  • Fee for both groups/Unit: 2700 rupees/-
  • Fee for one group or Unit (Other than 2): Get a refund of ₹ 1500/-
  • Late Fee: Our view is that the customers pay 600/- starting 24th February 2024.

 

Foreign Centres:

  • Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Muscat, Bahrain, and Kuwait ($):Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Doha, Muscat, Bahrain, and Kuwait ($):
  • Fee for both groups/Unit: $50k
  • Fee for one group or Unit (Other than 2): about $325
  • Kathmandu (INR): ₹ 3400/-
  • Thimpu (Bhutan): ₹ 2200/-

 

Besides the fee the candidate will have to pay towards services that include the paper and the exam itself, there will be bank charges, which are the following: for every thousand paid, I can pay in November online through the internet banking option.

These are charges payable by the candidate to the bank and will be recovered along with the applicable fee payable to the institute:

  • Domestic Credit Cards: 0.50%+ Sales Tax (GST).
  • Domestic Debit Cards / Rupay Cards:Domestic Debit Cards / Rupay Cards:
  • Up to Rs.2000: 0.4% + GST
  • Greater than Rs. 2000: 0.9% + GST
  • Rupay Cards: Nil
  • International Cards: F and M Markers: 2.75% + GST
  • Net Banking: Nil
  • BHIM UPI: Nil
  • Paytm Wallet: 1,10% prices, including GST.

 

Journal Fee for Intermediate Level

The journals have no fee as levied on college students at this time level. However, self-registering students under direct entry requires a 200 INR payment for a journal subscription.

 

Student’s Activity Fees for CA Intermediate

The purpose of these student activity fees is to allow you to attend the different workshops, seminars, and conferences held by ICAI during this level. Everyone should ₹ 2000.

 

CA Final Course Fees 2024

The CA Final Fee completes the CA series and pays for all additional coursework a student needs to become a successful and qualified CA. Enrollment for the course of the CA Final Course shall be made at any time one passes out successfully both the two years of practical training as well as the Intermediate level examinations. The next registration period comes up, and after that, individuals can get their registration re-validation done by paying a one time ₹500 fee.

 

CA Final Examination Fee

Indian Centres:

Fee for both groups: 3300/- Rs

Fee for a single group: 1800 INR /-

Late Fee: ₹ 600/- in the period of 24th February, 2024 (also for other locations like New Delhi, Kathmandu, or Bhutan).

 

Foreign Centres: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Muscat, Doha, Bahrain, and Kuwait ($):

  • Fee for both groups: USD$550.
  • Fee for a single group: US$3,250
  • Kathmandu, Thimpu (Bhutan) (INR): ₹ 4000 for group; ₹ 2200 for individual group.
  • Late Fee: The International Standard Rate of US$10 shall be effective from 24th February, 2024.

 

The institute’s fee, which covers all the services connected to the examinations, is not the only expenditure of the candidate. Bank charges will also incur at that figure as follows: the online banking charges when the bill is paid. These are charges payable by the candidate to the bank and will be recovered along with the applicable fee payable to the institute:

  • Domestic Credit Cards: 50-cent/ one + GST.
  • Domestic Debit Cards / RupayCards:Domestic Debit Cards / RupayCards:
  • Up to Rs.2000: 0.4% + GST
  • Greater than Rs.2000: 0.9% + GST
  • Rupay Cards: Nil
  • Net Banking: Nil
  • BHIM UPI: Nil
  • Paytm Wallet: Peripheral Credit, the apparel retailer, offers a discount of 1.1% + 5% GST.

CA Final Registration Fees

For both classes, the final CA registration fees are ₹ 22,000. For both categories, the final registration cost for international students is $1100 USD.

 

Fees for the ICAI CA Articleship Training

In addition to the above coursework, students must finish three years of articleship training. Candidates who successfully complete one or both of the CA Intermediate groups may register for articleship training. The cost for students to register for the CA articleship training is Rs. 2000.
